Green Foundation Nagpur (GFN) brings together systematic tree plantation (native species), conservation of biodiversity, urban beautification with public participation to build more green, clean and climate-resilient Nagpur city.
Conceptualized by Hon’ble Shri Nitin Ji Gadkari, Union Minister, Government of India & Founded in Aug’2022.

To promote environmental conservation through systematic tree plantation (native species), protection of biodiversity, urban landscape development with active public participation.

Plan, execute and maintain green projects at various locations such as public institutions, residential & industrial areas, road median, avenues, etc.

Support to NMC and NIT, covering 5 lakhs in urban Nagpur and 5 lakhs in rural Nagpur.
Projects
Explore our work across plantation, city beautification and pollution control.
More than 16,000 indigenous and ornamental trees planted in Nagpur, which includes Bajaj Nagar, Maharajbagh, Ramdaspeth, VIP Road, GMC and other public and institutional locations. Once these trees are planted and taken care of for 6 months to 1 year, the site is handed over to the respective land owner for further maintenance and care.
